exactly how do you crank a battery![]()
So, I put my Jeep in 4LO after I got the shifter cable adjusted. I think it was in neutral. I then put it in park and something was rattling around. Not quite grinding, but it definitely made noises that didn't sound great.
Can I put the Jeep in park when the TR is in 4LO? Or is there something possibly wrong? and what?
Installed some grab handles, and mounted the fire extinguisher. Not real happy with the FE location as not the quickest to get to. I’ll have to think about some other options.

It's heartwarming to see you back enjoying your TJ, my friend. May your recovery continue!
I’m getting there. Even if I can only use my left arm as a paperweight in the future I’ll figure it all out. 6 weeks since my last surgery and my arm is almost completely covered in skin.

Yes you can put the transmission in park in 4lo… 4lo Can be a bugger sometimes, transmission has to be neutral and you need to be in a slow roll to engage and disengage 4lo, even then you may hear some gears grinding.. there should be no noise between 2hi and 4hi…
Oil change.

That’s genius, Zorb. Sooooo much easier just to let the old oil soak into the yard…

It’s almost like it’s going home.
That actually is the very site of a certain mountain that Jeep once climbed...![]()
I have no problems with 2HI to 4HI. 4LO is a pain and it sounds like the TC is going to explode at times.
