We'll be at the 5000 ft. elevation range in the High Lakes area Saturday, so I bet we could hit the Tahoe/Rubi repeaters on 2M. It could be fun if you guys want to pick a repeater, or maybe even 2M simplex? Yeah, I'm a radio dork.

Those are the same reasons I have a GMRS in the rig and a cheap HAM radio. Everyone still doing random comms. And I’m not good (or certified) at any of them.

Signal Peak still eludes me. Someday I'll get on that trail. Anyone know if Cisco Grove Campground has opened back up yet?
I think I heard its open, but went to look it up on the forest website and didn’t see a campground called Cisco Grove. Is there a different name?

After storing her camp trailer for several years, we finally got to take it back to my daughter so she could fix it up.
Her birthday is tomorrow, so I'm taking her up to spring valley lake for a father/daughter day trip. Hope to see you up there @Daryl .
