My wife's friend stayed with us starting 12 days ago with a horrendous cough and and classic cold symptoms. It wasn't really a social visit or I'd be even angrier, she had sold her house in Sarasota and had to quickly find a house in our area to buy. My wife was her realtor and they're close friends. She stupidly was not wearing a mask and we just had to do our best to try to avoid being around her when she was coughing. We all should have put masks on but hindsight is always 20-20.
Sure as shit, my wife and I quickly caught what we thought was the mother of all colds. Today I gave us both a COVID test and yep, we're both fucking positive. I'm kinda pissed at her friend for coming here while sick but she had a limited time to find a replacement home to buy so I kinda understand.
Yeah I feel like shit but I know we'll both be fine before much longer. But if I felt bad before this morning's COVID test I now feel even worse knowing that lol. This is my second time getting it though before I had zero symptom when the VA tested me for it and tested positive after I was admitted for those two mini-strokes I had last April. It sucks, never thought I'd get COVID twice!
