I know this has been discussed in the past but was not discussed in detail... I'm looking into the rough country long arm kit. I'm just looking at brackets and arms no coils or anything. My question is, has anyone done this kit on a repaired frame. I've done a full frame repair and I'm worried the frame is too wide for the rc bracket.
Before you say it, yes it's rough country. Yes I'm broke. Yes it's radius arms. I'm only looking for imput on if anyone has done the rc kit on a frame repair. Hopefully you guys have an answer! Appreciate it!
Here's a pic of my freshly painted tj for fun!

I have not, I'd ask you lads first to see if there's any experience out there

If I wanted to attach something to the frame, but the frame is a different dimension than it used to be, then I would need to figure out what needs to be removed from or added to the thing I want to attach so that it gets located where it needs to be on the frame.

Can you weld?

I can weld, but unfortunately only have access to a 110 welder as I bought a cheapy for body repairs. If I had the cash I would be grabbing a welder and doing a proper 3 link front and rear with a axle swap

Screwing around trying to make a long arm kit attach to a frame that is no longer stock dimensions is similar in scope and equipment needs as something worth the effort like the Savvy mid arm. Except that you end up with a cobbled together long arm kit that still has all the poor geometry behaviors the original long arm kit did.

Very true, I hate living in the rust belt and having this thing eaten alive by salt. I should probably just put the money into a good welder

And come to terms with what problems you are trying to address with long arms where shocks are the correct answer.
