What do I do? I noticed my zipper on my pass rear window is ripping off!!

Honestly don't know if you can do anything about that other than keep it zipped, replace it or lube it up really good so if/when you do pull the zipper it might not make it worse. I will say that would royally piss me off if I saw that on mine tho.

Shoe repair shops tend to be really good with that sort of thing. No personal experience with the jeep top (fortunately), but if I had the same issue, I'd take it to one to see if they could handle it.

I see what y’all are saying I assumed I was kinda S.O.L But I figured to ask. Thanks for the input fellas I think after the Arizona trip for a wedding this month I’m looking into a new replacement soft top.

so being that here’s the famous what’s a good replacement? I’m looking for something reasonable

Mine was a little cheaper because I had it for awhile before putting it on.. took advantage of a sale or something and stuck it away, but Quadratec is $550.

Boat top places,
Tent shops,
Shoe repair...
I had issues similar with an old convertible top on 1963 Triumph Herald I owned a few years ago.(The back window would unzip.)Took mine to a boat repair and upholsterer...Took him about 30 mins and it was sorted.

I'd take it as an invitation to learn a new skill. Personally I've found sewing to be something very useful. I'd use bonded polyester thread, like T70 or #69. If you want to shop local just use Coats & Clark Outdoor or Upholstery thread and you'll be fine. It looks like an inch or less, maybe six or seven loops with a needle. Worst case you're back to square one.

Plenty of boat canvas shops around that can sew that. Around here there are some Amish canvas guys.

BestTop Sailcloth at the very minimum in my book.. I just installed my 2nd (3rd top including original factory one) and my Jeep is a 98.

Agreed. As you will find as posted elsewhere in the forum, Bestop made the factory top. Sailcloth is the middle of the road. Better than the cheapie, not as good or expensive as the twill.

Mine was made in Mexico. I prefer USA, but at least it helps out our neighbors, and doesn't give your hard-earned money to the communist Chinese. It's sorta like voting, I sometimes question if it does any good, but I will buy US or democratic nation-built products when ever I can, even if i have to delay gratification and save up for them.
