Will pulling fuel pump fuse relieve fuel pressure?

I am in the process of replacing my fuel injectors on my 2.5 L TJ. It is a very early build (3/96), so the rail does not have a test port. Will I relieve enough pressure in the system by pulling the fuse until it dies and removing the gas cap to safely pull the rail and fuel line? I am not worried about wrecking anything, but I prefer not to take a gas bath. Thanks in advance for any wisdom!

Pull the fuel pump relay and crank the engine, that will relieve the pressure. Not that much gas sprays out anyway, Just place a towel under the injectors as you remove them from the fuel rail.
