They are hydraulic, right?
A rear-drum TJ has 3 brake hoses; 2 in the front and 1 in the rear.
I replace them as "a set", since they are likely all the same age and have all suffered the same exposure, use, etc.
Replacing a 'working/ still good' brake hose is pretty cheap insurance if you ask me.
Like I would never replace all of the hardware and shoes without also replacing the cylinders.

Gotcha. I misinterpreted it as meaning a set of hoses for the rear drums, when there is only one in the rear. Thanks for clarifying.They are hydraulic, right?

That's why your truck should have a truck 4 spd. !
I suggest painting the new brake cylinders so they don't turn into a mass of rust...

POR-15 would be my GO-TO for that kind of project.
Awesome product that provides a great finish.
And it wears as good as powder coat in my experience.
I'm still alive because that old 72 w200 had a np435. Cool truck,shitty brakes!
