Today I changed my crankshaft pos sensor and while doing it I noticed this. What is it?

Looks like it leads to the xfer case

Tcase vent hose. Should be attached to firewall.

It looks like your a transfer case breather hose. Route it up into the engine bay on the passenger side of the transmission and secure it so it doesn’t fall down again.

So zip tying it to the clutch slave isn't a good idea?
