What differential gaskets?

Since I had already purchased the paper gaskets I put a thin layer of RTV on each side works great no leaks. Only took 2 and 1/2 quarts for the front and rear specifications said it would take three. Will drive tomorrow and check fluid levels. I appreciate everyone's help

That is how I've always put diff gaskets on every vehicle I've worked on, including my current Jeep. Auto transmission pans too. Never had a problem. I put a Lubelocker trans pan gasket on last time I serviced it, and have the Dana 30 and Dana 44 Lubelockers ready for the next fluid changes.

For reference, here's the part numbers for the FelPro gaskets.

Dana 30 - RDS 55019
Dana 35 - RDS 13089
Dana 44 - RDS 6629

Try Amazon. Lube Locker is a very popular gasket with great reviews.
LUBE LOCKER LLR-D030 Lubelocker
LUBE LOCKER LLR-D035 Lubelocker

These are the heading on Amazon when I searched.

+1
I had to take cover off 5 times in a month due to various reasons, still holds strong with no leaks , and no efing rtv to scrape!
I don't remember the last time i was so happy with a product.

Another vote for lube locker. Just clean the covers once from the prior rtv and use the lube locker gasket. Makes the changes quicker and I’ve never had a leak.
