What did you do to your TJ today?

I haven't looked at the wiring diagram on the TJ yet. Does it have a speed sensor wire to connect to the receiver?
I've read about certain functions being available based on the parking brake, or that you can ground that wire. I think I'd ground it so the radio always thought it was in park...

Looking forward to your review when you are ready.
Depends on your head unit, with the Kenwoods You can just ground the parking brake wire, Some other brands need need to send an on off pulse but you can purchase chips for this.

For example you cant just ground the Pioneer units (it needs to see a timed on off pulse)

in terms of the speed sense signal its nolonger necessary for the Kenwood units, they released a firmware update so that you can run apple carplay wireless without it. they figured GPS was accurate enough. there were ways to baypass it but its just not necessary any more.

These guys released a gps module which would convert it to speed sense signal for you but again this is dated now. for Kenwood units.

That is pretty bad-ass, you should start a build thread with the progress. It will be fun to watch this grow.
Thanks!

Not gonna lie. Pretty amped about this swap. Will be a good addition to my LS I put in last winter. Learning alot about Kingpin axles haha.

I have a build thread with my local Jeep forum. Bcjeepclub.ca

Unfortunately with two young kids and a wife, no time to start a new one.

Primered up my knuckles, caliper brackets and calipers. They are ready for paint. Thinking of painting housing black and the knuckles yellow to match jeep

Well then keep us posted, with pics as you can!

After driving to work in the fog yesterday with a filthy windshield that only smeared when I tried to use the washer fluid I found that I left the motor unplugged the last time I had the tank out. Plugged it back in after work in the parking lot. Our spray nozzles really do blow.
Check @jjvw 's build thread, I think he ran double hoses up the wiper blade or something
