What did you do to your TJ today?

Just had the Aircon system checked and regassed.. now I get lovely cold air again out the vents.

First time it's had it done in its 22years of life I think. Was pretty much empty

You make me sick ,,ya hear!!
I didn't have AC for just 8 years. go to get it regassed and they tell me...nope pull the AC Evac core before we gas that puppy up...
( I just joking mate....but yours gets sorted and mine is open heart surgery haha).....im tempted just use the DIY unit gas it up myself and if it lasts through Summer, I'll be a happy Hobbit.

 He did say if there's a leak it might not be too bad but if it's a dash out job then he won't bother unless I take it to mates workshop and we pull it apart there. Fortunately when he was doing the testing it held pressure perfectly and was as simple as a refill.

I still think I need to pull out the blower and replace it though as I don't feel it's blowing particularly strong for the noise it's making. Unless that's just how they function on a TJ. But for now at least it does some cold air considering this week is back to mid to high 30's for a bit.

End of the month Im off to the South Island for 2 weeks and they have hit 32 degrees as well....looks like a trip to Supercheap Auto for the DIY stuff is on the cards for me.

I really like this look for when I'm running topless next year

I like it flat and then jamming a tool bag inside the tire. "Pretty side" down so you have a nice cubby. Then X ratchet straps which holds both down.

Course this is the one or two times a year I'm lucky enough to not have to cart a dog around back there..

No room to do it flat with the back seat in. Plus if I'm running topless it means I'm not 4 wheeling, way too much mud around here to not have a mostly sealed cab
