What did you do to your TJ today?

You're not old enough for 42 years unless you're like my brother. He's been with the same woman since they were 13/14. He just turned 67. Good for you! (y)

Goddess Bless you Sir. I just turned sixty phucking five! I told my wife recently that our 42 years feels more like 54 - and that 54 is 42 in base 13. She wasn't amused, I was cracking up!

 I turned 65 yesterday. My wife of 12 years pointed it out yesterday and asked, could I believe it? I replied, "I try not to or we'll be divorced soon." ;)

Status update. Been putting in time when available. Shorter days and colder nights but here she is so far.

Front axle in, steering tight, alignment done all is tight ready for test run without front driveshaft

NP241 swapped in place of 232. Rear shaft in stock from @Shawn at Tom Wood's

Question, little help finding the fix for the 4WD light with this swap. It stays on and gets brighter when shifted in to 4WD.
I know I’ve seen it somewhere. I just can’t find it. Maybe a switch replacement.

Another Savvy cable adjusted perfectly😁.

Now I’m waiting for Dave, going to grab another parts jeep with rotten frame. Good half doors and hardtop is what we are looking for. $900. No title

Few of us have had decent experience with the softtops, but I’ve never seen their hardware.

Lol, I helped him out last time the Amazon screwed up…and I come from the PM/Logistics side, so I like a good challenge.

You did and I still very much appreciated your help....hopefully Rugged Ridge will come to the party.

Got everything out, setup a table with a soldering station, hand tools, heat shrink, etc, etc in order to start re-building the harness that came with my rock lites. Its a "star" configuration, making it a PITA to install, I'm wanting to make it a "tree style" with "branches". Got the first wires measured out and stripped, partially soldered, then went to put on the "outer" heat shrink and discovered that I had 1/8" and 1/4", but needed 1/2". The stuff I have on hand is 3:1 shrink ratio with meltable inner wall, just the stuff for a weatherproof harness build. Went to Ace. They had 3 shittin' little pieces of 1/2 inch 2:1 regular (no meltable inner wall) for $4. I had to go to Homeless Despot for some paint anyway, and verified that they didn't have what I wanted either, but there it was at least 3 shittin' pieces for $2.50. If they'd had the meltable inner wall, I probably would have gotten "some" to keep the project moving forward. Anyway, put all my shit away, and ordered the same stuff as I have on hand in a 1/2" size on Amazon. Since wife subscribed to Prime a few months back, this means that it will be here tomorrow. Wasn't cheap, $36/50ft - but that's a lot better than $4 for 3 shittin' little pieces at Ace, or even the $2.50 that HD wanted for the same thing.
