Man, I’ve had a great day and extremely fun evening-

I took some time to plan some changes to my work shop, refinished my miter stand, cleaned out my work trailer, and got my truck in good shape -

Took a good friend fishing-
Caught 41

If you guys will think back over the past few years, you’ll notice you’ve never seen me drive this thing all the time like I’m doing now -

Blaine told me “get the balance beads out of the tires “ - and I didn’t want to break down the bead locks and let it sit mostly-

Anyway, as usual, it pays to listen to people that know their stuff and it made a huge difference to remove them-

This thing is a pleasure to cruise around in-

Rides cushy without being bouncy-

It’s just weird how many people are confused when they look at

I’ve had TJ owners think it was a JK and JK owners think it was a JK

LJ owners love it.

I’m really grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to own it. I’ll never forget the first time I saw it…. I couldn’t believe it.

I want to add this is not about “hey look at what I have”-

I imagine a lot of people are like me and they get one of these things and they don’t know exactly what they are doing, and they lose confidence that the Jeep can be really good - or they make decisions based on trends or some form of group think like when people think a long arm is the answer….

My point is with quality parts and good set up these things can be a pleasure on and off the road.

Good thing you unblocked the guy that helps everyone fix shit right 😉

Yes I did see those but I’ve never heard of the company so I’m not sure the quality and how they will fit

Few of us have had decent experience with the softtops, but I’ve never seen their hardware.

You sending jeep parts to Mordor?

Lol, I helped him out last time the Amazon screwed up…and I come from the PM/Logistics side, so I like a good challenge.

I agree. I commute in mine all the time and to get anywhere from my house you’re spending time at 70mph plus. Every part of my build I’ve kept drivability in mind. The only exception might be the beadlocks and Baja Bosses I’m about to install but currently I can set my cruise at 85 with one finger on the wheel. It drives like a dream at speed, until I get above 90. Then I get a slight driveline vibe but I attribute that to shortening the stock driveshaft myself and not balancing it. I checked runout but never got it balanced as I knew I’d be swapping it out within a year for a CV.

Can’t beat that. You might be surprised when the tires go on- @Hog has 37’s with no weights at all.

Mine on the TJ going on 10 yrs. Wife's on her GC for 13 yrs. Still work great!

That's good to hear. I now have them on all 3 cars, it was $85 to replace all 3 on the wife's FIAT, but totally worth it if I get even half of what you've experienced. I just hate buying the same damn thing over and over again.
