What did you do to your TJ today?

I suppose what seemed like a nice product/customer service feature ended up equating to additional overhead cost per blade and meant the blade would likely last longer if used, equating to reduced sales frequency. Bad for business double header.

i order the roll of silicone rubber and installed that on the blade. In Arizona the rubber always went bad before needed and the silicone is now 4 years old. That might be an option

I put the 17" Mammoth wheels on mine after I got it. I liked them and they did well at 8 PSI. I have them on my JK that I daily now.

Put some new wheels and tires on hopefully the wheels will be half as good as the Aev Pintler's I had. Got rid of the 16in and went 15in plus the Aev where beat up pretty good.

Used a 99 kickpanel for a locker master switch


And made a trail jack base

I'd love to figure out a way to do a push start on mine with a hidden kill switch. I only have mine insured for fire and theft.

Put the new Dorman bushing and body lift puck in. Had to buy a full BL kit for 1 stupid puck. Couldn't get the upper bushing out so I left it. Kinda surprised how good of shape these 26 year old bushings are; Jeep was made 8/99 as a '00 model year.

Yea I ordered a kit from Amazoon. Luckily I did because I needed multiple. Now I have a few spares if a bolt comes out again. Appreciate it!

Today I installed some Currie 4” springs to let them settle to ride height so I can get some good measurements for when I start my axle swap in a couple weeks.

Also got my beadlocks back from the powder coater. They’ll look good wrapped in Baja Bosses.

I like it , hinge at the top makes sense to me . Plus you couldn't do the slide out and table at the same time the other "low rider" mount.

A good rag with rubbing alcohol will clean blades up and make them last longer

I’ve done that in the past and they do Work a treat

Lol. Trying to make this my bucket list rig. Last winter was the LS swap and highlines. This winter is JK axles, mid-arm and going to 37’s. Last step will be out boarding with tuned Fox’s, that may be part of this step, just need to see how the expendable funds play out, taking the fam to Mexico in February as well…..

If you're going to outboard and get tuned shocks, instead outboard and get a set of ORI's.
