Replaced the clutch, pilot bearing (wet bread trick worked great), and all 3 shift boots....again

Well.. Sugar Honey Iced Tea..wife hit something. Guess I'll heat and bend it back until I can get a new tie rod and joints.

The bread sounds less messy though.
But it doubles as a snack when you're done.![]()
I never heard of the bread trick but I've used a tight fitting socket and grease, even putting a wrap of electrical tape around the socket as sort of a piston ring to make it tighter. The lineup tool works too as does a spare input shaft. The bread sounds less messy though.
Cut the rusted tailpipe off as close to the muffler as I could get. I just can't get the rest of it out of the muffler to slide the new one in. Lack of good tools and zero mobility in my spine aren't helping.Any tips?
