What did you do to your TJ today?

Back in the day , it was common to grind a small amount off the H yoke on lifted square body Chevy's . Take it apart , grind a little , and put this issue behind you. It's a easy , permanent , fix .

It has crossed my mind to do that. Except I am still wondering why the DS is not centered on the h-yoke. Seems like it should be centered. If it was I probably would grind a little off and think it was that way before I changed the parts and was due to the suspension lift.

Saturday morning started with torrential rain…. But cleared up this afternoon so I went for a wee drive ( and a chicken teriyaki sandwich I got from the local bakery)

Driving home yesterday in the rain, I make a left when the light changed and after about 200' I find the ass-end of the TJ trying to wrap around counter-clockwise in front of me.
I let off the gas and steer into the skid, only to hop up onto the median and then back into my side of the road when my over-correct sets in and it starts to spin the other way. Happened 2-3 more times, all at 20-30MPH.
It must have been a hell of a sight.
This was my first experience hydroplaning in a short wheelbase vehicle & it was horrifying.

The experience was eye-opening and rectum-closing at the same time.

A good reminder to be safe out there as the weather changes on us.

Maybe a little low on tread or a little high on tyre pressure. That spelling is an nod to @Kiwi TJ
