What did you do to your TJ today?

WTH did that @AndyG sell you? Time for a refund and extra $2,000 for pain and suffering.
p.s. I'll take those old Rubi wheels off your hands if shipping is free. ;)

The old Rubi wheels are long gone.

Shoot @AndyG is the best, he gave me all his credit card info a while back.

He didn't say don't save it..........  🤫 🤷‍♂️

Haven't had enough stuff break on mine, so I temporarily revoked her garage parking spot while I acquire some half-working 4-wheelers in advance of deer season.

First up is a tao tao 125cc for $150 that fires up but won't stay running and the headlights are no longer wired in. Should be a simple carb cleanup & basic wiring. Then I can prove to Mrs. Hear that I know what I'm doing and I can get a few more. I have a lot of kids, so a single 4-wheeler is going to be a bad time.

After spending a whopping $28 to replace the carb, all the fuel lines, filter, and battery, I'm proud to report that the ATV that had a hard time staying running now won't start at all.

Check to make sure you are getting fuel flow to the carb, and if you are I'd pull that carb apart and check the needle valve and passages to make sure they are clear. Since it was $28 for all of that, I'm assuming it was an Amazon China carb, and those are famous for the needle and seat not working properly. You should be able to blow through the fuel hose inlet to the carb if the needle/seat are working correctly, and unable to blow through it with the carb upside down when the needle/seat should be closed.

Needle & seat were working ok when I installed it, or at least I think they were.

I always remove, soak (carb cleaner), and brush the pilot jet, needle, and main jets when cleaning carbs. I've seen some badly varnished parts and the engines ran well after some effort.

Removed the original seat adjustment bezel and installed an early model bezel. I feel it looks better with the top off and the roll bar exposed.

No spark. I had spark when I pulled it off the trailer at my house. Time to trace wires.

Last post on this - turns out my spark problem was that I didn't disengage the kill switch. I'm new to bikes/atv's etc. I just texted XJ buddy....he just laughed at my lack of a red neck. Anyway, now it starts right up. There's no muffler so I didn't let it run (which was the initial problem I was trying to solve). But it started RIGHT up, and prior to this it took a little work.

You can know a lot and still know very little.

You're just a few hours too early...
