Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

I threw my few RA magnets in the trash. They have a habit of sending me the wrong parts, then wanting me to pay return shipping for their mistakes. Not going to happen.

Wow really? They sent me a damaged flywheel when I did the clutch on my TJ (pretty sure it was FedEx who managed to damage the flywheel teeth). I complained and they sent me a new one no charge or issues. I did sweet talk the girl on the phone though. ;)

It's those lousy shipping guys! :ROFLMAO:

I saw your email, they should be coming this week sometime.

Just so everyone knows, we only send out stickers to the people that ask nicely, not in every order. SO when you order, tell us you're a forum member and ask for stickers so you get the discount and stickers.

I was more impressed by how well my brand new AX-15 was packaged and not destroyed by shipping that I completely forgot all about potential stickers. :ROFLMAO:

Hey neighbor...what are you doing with the 42RLE?

Dumping the mf in tha trash
Edit,I'm not !!! (I Was being ignorant with my humor....)

Funny (not). I ordered exactly one thing from them about 7 years ago. $130.00 bracket for a big block Chev. power steering pump. What arrived was not at all what I ordered. I tried to contact them and finally gave up after a couple of days. Their automated system decided the mistake was all on me so I had to pay to ship it back to them. That was their one and only chance with me. Never again.

Old and busted....

New hotness....

PO installed 7 inch flares at some point, then they were painted? Maybe? They were pretty much falling apart and flaking. After I installed the factory wheels w/spacers, the tires tucked in a bit tighter to the Jeep so I ordered flares that were supposed to be 1 inch narrower, hoping to just barely cover the tread.

Mission accomplished. Bought them from Extreme Terrain. (Open box. RF has a few scratches possibly from the big staples holding the box together) I don't mind the scratches bc I'll make more from the narrow roads I like to go down.... and that made them almost half price.
Researched how to change them on here and that made it easy-peasy for a middle-aged, "slightly" overweight man.
Thanks to everyone that posts stuff like that. That saves me a lot of time from asking a lot of questions.
I also found the small hose coming off of the filler neck was unhooked from the line on top of the fuel tank. Maybe I found my evap leak code that pops up every now and then.

oh snap!

Regardless, I would love to get my hands actually inside one of these beasts. I can "rebuild it" w/o replacing any parts, just so I can get more familiar with it. If you're actually throwing it away, please don't. Let's meet up.

I'm not actually throwing it away lol,no way😆

It's still a "very good" trans when driven in a civilized manner, not being a hood rat for 30 straight minutes around town drifting around town doing donuts on a rainy day 😆

I had the same intention of breaking it down and seeing if it works by giving it to someone that would be down to be a test mule and if it works, pay me the money spent in parts andyou'll have a trans that A. Was super cheap B. Something that was built with deep intention of it functioning properly and in term giving myself some experience😁.

I was actually looking around cause there's another guy with a similar profile as you but im glad you said something cause your the only person from prosper Tx🙂
We've spoken before,I'd like to meet up on a day where we both could break it down,Kinda share the experience 😁

This morning I finished up the sound deadener in the back half. I’m waiting on some specialty hardware before I can put everything back together.

you WILL notice a big difference in the road and tyre noise.... I did mine a couple years ago and love it.

Duct tape and super glue. Good as new.
F'all that 😆Better yet! Take that junk out and replace it with an Ax 15 😉

I should be done this week since all my parts should be here.....should,Just started a few days ago 😁
Jokes Aside,To fix the trans
I was gonna learn my aluminum spool welding skills if I get a spool gun,I have another block for my stroker build I got planned,so I can bolt that broken trans to the block and grind out the crack and weld the broken chunk back on😁

Welp.....Another complaint....APART FROM NO STICKERS 🤣🤣 Jk😆
Not really a complaint since this allows me to put my desired angle on my shaft😉....😳....
HEY LOOK
Im now your typical semi truck driver now🤣:
