Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

Working on my steering wheel cover. Terrible picture, but it's looking nice. I've got about 1/3 or so of the top section done now too.

However, when this is done, someone would have to pay my mortgage to get me to do another one! The strong gets kinked and twisted with every pull so I have to untwist the string each pass. And there's A LOT of passes!

Are these what I want for a mml with a new Savvy skid plate, or would I still need a spacer plate to lift it more?

if you have the original motor mounts id get these for sure no question, They're great!!! So to answer your question yes you would need this !
I have the same mounts but in the stock height just running a spacer under em, Im gonna be running a savvy tummy tuck as well once i get a drive shaft so i got everything but that!

Well nevermind.....I got a couple inches further this evening and the string broke. I I took a break, came up with a plan to repair and decided I would start on the other side and find a way to end it at that spot when I got there. Then my string broke again while getting started. I took another breather and decided on a way to start over at the first break. I got back to where it broke the first time and it broke again. But this time, it was the pre-installed stich that broke. The one that you go back and forth through that is all the way around. So, as far as I can tell, I have to cut it off and throw it away. 🤬

Edit: And I'll add that I did not even pull hard on the string. I could feel that it wasn't anything special and knew not to horse on it.

After a number of years of changing my mind, back and forth many, many times on what lift kit to go with….i bought an OME 2 inch lift kit.
So it’s done ✅… no going back now.
Went with the light rating as I put my TJ on a diet ( rear seat delete, Ali bumpers , soft top etc)
