Countersinking and using countersunk bolts is the only thing I can think of.

The fabtech kit in my Jeep has composite rubber plate that goes over the skid covering up skid bolts, counter sunk pan head bolts and nuts 8 are used to secure rubber mat to skid. I will be getting back to that project and dropping skid again shortly. There are 18 bolts and nuts! For the skid, a Pain in the you know what, lots of patience is required.

This has been fun and can’t wait for him to get it back. Oh by the way. I’m going on a Tiger Cruise. That’s a 3 day 2 night Cruise on an active duty US Navy ship.

I run the gambit of classic rock when wheeling!!!! My musical taste run from Jimmy Buffett to Ronnie James Dio, and all points in between. Mix in some classic country like Hank Sr. to George Straight and I'm fine.
@tr21triton can liven up the party till "tequila makes his clothes come off" then everyone locks themselves in their Jeeps till he sobers up

That skid system is all Savvy. And install was much easier than i anticipated after years of reading this forum.

What size is the current bolt?
You can probably find an equivalent Torx bolt that would be much smoother

If I had to guess this one will see mud as soon as my son gets a chance.

After not being in any real mud for 35 years, I had forgotten what a pain in the butt the cleaning process is.

Looks great. What size tires are they?
Throwing in a bonus photo I found from before the tire change.
3 inch lift with 33s.
Added the 1.25 Savvy Body lift and went to 35s.
Got registration and a plate yesterday. Won't get a title for one year but I can legally use it as soon as I get safety chains and lights.. Three notorized documents, calls to the local town, parish and state police and about three hours with the DMV but I made it happen. I think they just wanted me to go away so they caved.
