Easiest way I found to do u joints is find and old socket that fits over the end of the spider but inside the yolk ears that will keep it centered when you smack it with a hammer- jack that way it goes where it needs to alot easier. Just a thought...

Took my daughter and the TJ out to the beach today....getting as much time in the sun as possible before our Autumn finally gets stuck in.

If that is for the rear axle, the brackets fit, the axle is cleaned correctly with no additional prep, that is about 4 hours max.

I have the ones someone painted and they have the paint flake look. I'm going to take mine off and sand them with my palm sander spray with adhesion paint , primer and shoot with Bedliner . That seems so simple when you say it real fast. I bet that's going to be an all day thing ........ then a couple of weeks drying before I put them back on.
I have some red full doors like that too. The guy I bought the jeep from bought them off someone who had painted them green .... how do I know they were red.... that green shit is flaking off too. They will get stripped , primed and a full spray.

And here I am still waiting, I am sure he will have some off the wall excuse, such as, I had to stop and eat, or the wife had to go potty, maybe even this new jeep isn't geared low enough for highway speeds, heck he might get 2 ducks
