What did you do to your TJ today?

Picked up an old Bestop trunk for the TJ for 30 bucks yesterday and dropped it in this morning.

Yea - if the thing's going to crap out and you have to change it, it might as well be free, right?

Yeah, I may have stated it earlier, but my local Autozone did me right. They gave me full credit for my dead starter, and took another $40 off a new top level Gold starter. I ended up paying $80. Huge difference in torque this thing puts out. It feels like it is trying to flip the Jeep everytime I crank it.

We have a Duralast Keurig coffee maker. Bought it 7 years ago, with a 1 year warranty. It died a few days after 1 year. They replaced it, for free. Rinse, repeat. We've had a new one every year since then, for free, because they build them so badly. The most recent one died last week after only 10 months. Even a good warranty is useless if the product is crap. We won't bother this time, we're switching to some other brand.

I had the same problem with the Keurig, ended up buying a Ninja single serve and couldn't be happier. Takes a little longer to brew( i used the "cheater basket" with my own coffee in both) but it's a way better design. I highly recommend it.

After putting off getting a new fuel pump I finally took the plunge and started by dropping the tank. Obviously. Wasn't too bad except I broke a few things; the small pipe on the filler neck, and the clips on all the push connectors(?) and one bolt. I also noticed a cut in one of the vacuum (?) lines, I'm thinking a piece of hose and a hose clamp to seal it. As for the connector clips, what can i do about that? I'm hoping I can find a used filler neck.

What is the latest wisdom on which fuel pump to buy? Delphi or some other brand?

Matt you should be able to find those clips at the auto parts stores.

Filler neck probably Ebay.

I'm running a Delphi pump i got from RockAuto, it's going on 3 years old now 🤞
