Haha yes … I was thinking “ well, while I’m in there I may as well replace both”
It comes down to price and availability at the end of the day.
They are going to try and source both parts and let me know the price.
I will pull the dash myself to save some dollars and hand it back to them to gas up the AC, test for leak leaks etc

Decided to lay out my new Bestop roof in the garage… as the Jeep is getting worked on.
Really pleased to see no Bestop tramp stamp…

Removed the antenna mount, didn't use it anyway. Replaced it with this nice medallion I had laying around.

Was going to order another trail rated badge but I like what I have better.

3M double sided tape, also going to pop rivet it. The 3M was more to cover the hole where the antenna mount was.

Funny that, I yanked mine over a year ago for the very same reason and purchased a second badge to cover the spot (which I still haven't installed). I'm not yet worthy of the wizard's mark, I've only purchase skid plate nutserts to date.

Ordered a set of Core4x4 Camp Series control arms and some BDS extended sway bar links. I got Camp Series because I couldn't say no to the price and it's not a "flexy crawler" (we only have swamp & sand in S FL).

Put gas in it, first drive in nearly a month. Farted in it for good measure. RMS leak has shown up. Project for another day

Put the front driveshaft back in. For those that saw my other post about two weeks ago ended up taking the DS down to get it looked at and balanced. I had everything done correctly. The guy at shop told me he noticed the casting is off center. In the picture (circled in red) you can see that one side is narrow the other. This makes the the gap small. Said it’s been that way since it left the factory. I suppose the 3” lift makes it a little smaller but it hasn’t been a problem. @Shawn at Tom Wood's said it may have always been like this. Anyways all back together and took her for spin. Seems fine to me.

Dugout my old half door windows and cleaned them up so my son can use them on his TJ. He is putting the soft top back on before we drop below the 60s for good.

Getting closer with my camping prep. I mounted a new lithium battery and a charger for it today. That's going to be my first glamping trip

Much better than the monster lead battery that took a large part of my boot.

Cleaned her up a bit and went for quick drive…. Waved at a JL owner as I drove past one of the bays, 15 minutes later he pulled in behind me to talk ‘Jeep’ lol
He was originally from South Africa and owned 2 TJs….. he has since owned 2JK’s and now is lifted JL. (he wouldn’t let me take a photo of it though )
