What did you do to your TJ today?

Jajaja my wife and me have been together for 12 years+, and since I met her, her house side fence gate to the backyard would not open completely, only partially allowing about three feet through. I measured the space between the house and the fence, and it measures 8 feet, so I thought.... hmmmmm, I could bring the TJ to the backyard without moving a lot of stuff inside the car porch, the only way to the backyard. Finally fixed the side gate and now the TJ flies through the side !!! She gave me that unhappy face like “ you m. flower now you finally decided to fix the gate”...... You see Jeep folks, a Jeep can bring out the best in you !!!!

Installed new wiper blades today, got tired of the old ones just smearing the rain.

Has anyone else noticed the price increase on wiper blades????

The cheap anco blades that used to be around $5.00 are now almost double.
Of course those were out of stock so I had to pay freaking $21.00 a piece for 2 of the Anco extreme or something like that!!!! Down right insane!

The worst part is that we can not buy the worn rubber part anymore. Now they only sell the whole wiper with the metal portion.

I’ve seen a lot of fold out tables for the tailgate, but I already have some bags there. Decided to try to make a table that folds down from the tire carrier .... couple trips to the hardware store and a nutsert tool from Amazon and here we are...View attachment 324862

Actually lots of controls are between the seats, ignition, windows, power top. I liked the middle finger to conventional norms.🖕
If I remember right, they had the window and door lock switches in the middle too? I believe they said moving all these things toward the center reduced the potential for break-ins with slim jim's and wire hangers?

Are you not supposed to swim in it? It always looked so enticing crossing over the bridge.
No you can swim in it, TVA recommends not eating more than a few pounds of fish caught out of the river a year.

If you decide to swim in it the little campground on your left crossing the bridge on your way home is a good spot. Easy in and out.

Took a couple hours off of welding on the frame to take the front driveshaft out and rebuild it. What a pain in the asshole. I’d never done the double cardan style before and getting that centering ball side together was tricky. Finally got it back together and it’s super smooth with grease fittings on every part.

Correct. Only thing on the doors was interior latch and a handle for closing the door and the driver's door had the electric mirror control.

Tested the TC on an off road Track, all good and sweet. Jeep has way too high gears for my likes. 3.07 Diff’s, they must go ASA I find a set of 4.88s. This Jeep is so mechanically nice, all stock, great place to start.....

Well, the Power trax no-slip arrived today. That's the good news. The bad news is that the factory seal was broken on the box. So I started looking everything over. At first, I thought it was OK, but then realized that there's supposed to be "slotted" and "unslotted" sides to this thing, and the box had two "unslotted" instead of one of each!

Back to "Warrior Woman" it goes. Thank Goddess I wasn't planning on installing it anytime soon anyway...
