Vanity Plates

Good idea. I thought about this with my wow name but shes an undead mage and some how "Bonebaby" doesn't look right on a jeep plate. LOL

Ha! My screen name (and old plate) is the name of a character that I created and played in Everquest for years. When message boards first started they were every basic and very limited, but still kind of specialized. The first one that I joined was an Everquest forum so I used my characters name, sixteen years later and it just kind of stuck. :)

Regarding your plate, how about "TOMBRDR"?

As much as I want to put even just a bumper sticker on my Jeep, I won't do it. I don't want people to easily recognize or remember me. I just don't like identifying markers.

...just a face in the crowd.
LOL - my son in law is like you and said with my driving I need to be a face in the crowd but I have a big yellow smiley face on my front window. I left it there cause I found a matching shift knob.

It acknowledges the Distinguished Flying Cross I was awarded.

You were in an aerial flight? Very nice award!

I never got to do a tour of Iraq. I was an 11 Bravo stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington with the 2nd ACR before it became the 4th brigade of the 2nd ID.

I only did 4 years though.

Actually this is just one of three. I flew aero scouts for C Troop, 16th Air Cav in Viet Nam. Long time ago. I did 23 years.

That's quite the career. What rank did you end up retiring at?

That's exactly why I no longer have it. I want to be the grey man.

Back in the mid-80's I drove a city traffic test route in the metro Los Angeles area. We were doing brake testing for a major manufacture. I always had a clip board handy to record the brake temperatures from thermocouples that were embedded in the brake friction material.

I used to watch for vanity plates and try to figure them out. Some were obvious, others not so much.

One that I didn't figure out until that evening was:
6UL DV8.

Lol! I think I made beer come out my nose!

Okay, now I am trying to figure this one out...

I'm slowly turning my LJ into a Jurassic Park Jeep. 13 wasn't a Jeep in the movie. Choosing 13 gives me the freedom to not make an exact replica. My plate is a zoo plate that reads JP13. I also have the actual Jurassic Park plate in the front numbered 13.
