Same here. The steering wheel blocks it most of the time.I find it's suggestions mildly amusing. But it doesn't bother me enough to take any overt action. Also, I don't always notice it as the steering wheel position seems to block most of it for me.
Goofy question, but do folks find the up shift light annoying? On my prior '97, it either didn't have the feature, or the light itself didn't work.
Later, after the mechanical rehabs are done, I'm taking apart the gauge cluster and removing that bulb.

I think that is accurate, as vacuum varies with engine load. You need some parameter to effectively measure engine load, and vacuum does that.Wow. I thought it was based on engine load.

Ha! I thought it is based on some program in the ECM that Jeep determined that if followed, helped it hit the claimed EPG.
