I used the cheap one when I did my AX15 swap. It worked ok. I didn't feel like the platform was shaped ideally to support the transmission case without rolling or sliding (putting the entire bellhousing in front of the platform was front heavy and wanted to tip, but putting part of the BH on the platform made it want to slide fwd), and didn't have enough tilt adjustment to line up the input shaft with the clutch and pilot depending on how far forward or back it sat when I positioned it. I seemed to remember having an easier time stabbing it when I just bench pressed it up there, but I'm not 25 anymore. In the end, I got the job done, and it cost me about $20 because I sold it immediately after finishing the job. If I was gonna buy one for repetitive use I would spend a little more for something nicer.
