Tow hook bolts

Are you guys replacing the China made bolts that come with the China made tow hooks with some grade 8's from the hardware store? (when mounting to the rear of the frame)

I did when the bolts that came with my last set of tow hooks didn't have the required 1/2x13 size. They were close but no cigar.

Same here, I went and got some nice black grade 8 flange bolts and nylocks

I used new grade 8's for mine as well. Figured it can't hurt...

Nylocks? Where did you use them? The top bumper/recovery hook bolts screw into the threaded inserts inside the frame inside the bumper.

These are my rears. I now have 2 front and 2 rear. My fronts are OEM off ebay, with the original bolts. Getting ready for the beach.
