I have a 2.5 inch lift with stock sway bar links front and back. I don't do off road but I do live outside of Buffalo,NY where road maintenance is unheard of. I have recently replaced all 4 control arms with basic OEM style parts. It looks like sway bar links and bushings are also in order. Do I really need extended links and if so why?

Thanks

IIRC ideal sway bar angle is slightly above level (the bar itself), something like 10 degrees being ideal.

Inversion isn't likely if you don't off road connected, but it changes the performance of the sway bar if it's angled down significantly.

You're fine for your usage. I went with longer front links with a 2.5" lift and left the rear ones stock. If they need replacing anyway, no reason not to get longer ones. Zone Offroad has reasonably prices solid links. The stock ones with a joint suck and break easily with a small lift.
