5.38 Yukon 10.25 Gearset (new)
Pinion Depth = .035 Depth Shims under the bearing race.
Backlash = .009

Can you please provide input on the first pattern for this set up?

Yes. I put a Dana 60 under the front last winter, now putting the matching 10.5 on the rear.

The coast side looks good for the most part but I can't see much of what the root has to show. The drive side pattern looks like it should be good but the pattern is kind of tough to see on my phone. Any chance you can wipe off the excess and just use enough to turn them yellow? Try to add more resistance if you can.... That should help out the drive side. Could be me trying to see on my phone.

Note: I didn't have the shim set up to take out 2 thou. I could go 1 or 3 thou less, I chose to do just 1 )

This is a rare set of Yukon gears that it has such a wide sweet spot. I agree with Mike and like it as well.

Finished the 500 mile break in on the new axle and gears. They are running smooth and oil was very clean.
