Spider shade - JK to TJ / LJ

Found one thread where someone claims the Spidershade from a JK will fit a TJ based on their website. However I can’t find this info on the Spidershade site.

Anyone have a definite answer if this is the case? Wondering if a 2dr JK Spidershade would fit my LJ.

I believe that's correct. My LJ came with a spiderweb shade and the previous owner said it's a JK shade. Really all that matters is the width and length. It's installed using bungies, so they will work on anything.

Now there are many different brands and they're all basically the same thing. I have a second TJ (not LJ) and bought the Smittybilt version for super cheap on sale. I don't remember how much, but I think it was around $25.

I took it off over a year ago, but think it went about a foot past the rear roll bar.

Thanks! I may have to grab this then, I only really ride around with the top off on sunny days - some days its almost too much. Seems like the added protection will help with reducing the fading on the interior as well.

They seem to work well. I used to have a JKU and had one. Also have used the Smitty version in my other TJ a few times because it's a hard top. So works well when the hard top is off, provides enough protection so you don't feel like the sun is burning your skin.

You can leave them on when you put a hard top or soft top on.

Well picked it up through marketplace. Glad I didn’t buy it new.. I don’t see how this is worth what their asking..

So this is the 2door JK one on my 05 LJ. Fits good length wise, the very front by the windshield is a bit odd..
