Anyone have recommendations for quality spade connectors that can include insulation over the connector itself?

I ordered this cheap kit off Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJQ8PN7P?tag=wranglerorg-20

It's even worse Chinesium than I could have ever expected... 🤮

Looking for application within the tub - not weather-sealed connectors in the engine bay/exterior.

Specifically, I'm working on radio upgrades - but looking for good spade connectors overall for the interior. In the past, I've used the 5-part kits from the local auto store with heat shrink that never shrunk...

Correctly, those are not spade terminals, they are quick disconnects. A spade is two forks that go under the head of a screw on a bus bar, terminal strip, or any of that style connection without removing the screw. My preference is the 3M style with the extra sleeve that crimps onto the insulation with the right crimper.

Your local NAPA store carries quality connectors.

I think the split ones are called spade terminals and the flat ones are blade terminals.

You're always keeping us correct on our language — and having worked with a supervisor who lived by the 'words matter' (and he was proved right on that idea many times), I appreciate your correction!

Thank you for the recommendation! I'd suspect a 3M product will shrink better than the box store crap... I'll take a look at them.

Used them before — they tend to shrink like garbage. Good enough to 'do the job —— barely' but lack a long term quality I'm look for on my build.

@mrblaine - You got me on the 3M product!

After your suggestion, I spent more time than I should have looking around for a simple quick disconnect connector... That being said, I appreciated your suggestion and then did my own research. And from that research time I spent on a ~$0.50 connector/ea, I went with the 3M products... I continue to respect your opinion and how much research (and buy & error) you work through for your suggestions!

Picked up these that should cover me for 14-16AWG and 18-22AWG.

Went Mouser for their ability to go smaller quantity over WayTek and other sites.

If you can find the crimpers for them if you don't have any, more the better. Let me know if you find they work for you.
