Soft top advice

Hi, I just bought a Quadratop soft top from someone parting out a smashed up TJ. It didn't come with the door surrounds and there are a ton of options for replacement so I was hoping someone would have some recommendations? And is everything soft top pretty versatile (i.e. will Bestop fit with Quadratop)?
I've had a hard top for the 3 years I've owned my Jeep so I'll really accept any advice (care, storage, tips and tricks) on soft tops. Thanks!

I believe the hardware for the Bestop & Quadratop soft tops are pretty much the same thing. A call to Quadratec would verify that.

I wonder if you called Quadratec and said you had a Quadratop if their answer would be "Only Quadratop parts will fit." Maybe calling Bestop and asking if their parts will fit your Quadratop would get you some better information. If they said yes, I'd probably call Quadratec and see if their parts would fit my "Bestop". A yes from both would pretty much guarantee it to be true.

And I see you're in Michigan so I'd guess you have a few months to get those parts. I could be wrong though.

QT sells a replacement Quadratop that fits the factory hardware, so it would seem reasonable that their full top's hardware would be the same. You might be able to pick up some door surrounds on the for sale section of this forum.

My experience with Quadratec is that they don’t know their specific hardware well enough to tell you the thread pitch/size of their branded receiver hitch mount. Maybe you’ll fare better with a soft top query.
