Yeah, I ordered a first generation raw set before Mr. Blaine had some of the second gen ones anodized. I radiused them myself (that's the difference between 1st and 2nd gen) and paid a finisher almost $100 to hard-anodize them. The Cole/Mr. Blaine deal was much better. It's too bad there's not enough sales volume to keep these in production because they really are a stellar design. And once again - to anyone wanting a great option for soft shackle recovery points, buy a set now while you still can!

I saw those photos and could swear I purchased a set shortly after reading your post (like 2 years ago, maybe?), but I cannot find them for the life of me. I gave in and just bought another set.

BTDT. More than once. My memory ain't what it used to be, and my house, garages, and shop have too much stuff in them because I'm a pack rat (not a hoarder!)

Oh, if I did actually buy them, I have absolutely no doubt they will reveal themselves within 6-9 months of the ones I just order being installed. I'd bet on that horse.
Sometimes when I have a free moment I ponder which will come first, death or garage organization.
Found these in the garage tonight...didn't even take a month.
Not to undercut brother @sunnysideup_lj , but it looks like I'll be listing a set of "vintage" KXTFab billet recovery points for sale in the very near future due to my lapse in, uh, inventory management...
