These are the ones Cole made for us. The reason they are in the for sale section now is due to my decision to discontinue them once this batch is gone. They move too slow to continue with them as a product so once these are gone, that's it from us. https://blackmagicbrakes.com/ols/products/recovery-points-soft-shackle-friendly So, if you want a set that is hard anodized black, probably be a good idea not to dilly dally. There are about 10 sets left.

Do you know if the Savy light bracket will fit under them? https://savvyoffroad.com/bmp-lm-light-mount-for-tj-lj-jk-front-bumper/

I picked up a set and as usual, another great product. In my case it solved the problem where the tow hooks blocked the fog lights from tilting forward for proper adjustments. If anyone is looking for a quality way to attach soft shackles, this is it!

Question, if i’m pondering returning to stock away from my heavy-ish crawler bumper, would these pair well with a stock (trimmed for length) front bumper and minimalist winch plate?

Mrblaine, I am interested in a pair. Are you willing to ship to Ontario, Canada?

Tim

I had been thinking of ordering a set of the black ones for a while but kept putting it off.

Just pulled the trigger on a set since they won’t be available anymore.

Didn’t even pay any attention to the limited quantity part of that 1st post. Figured I had a little time. I just jumped on them.

I can since they fit quite readily in a small flat rate. I am not fond of what that will cost you though. Shipping is over 30 bucks for a small flat rate which is just dumb.

I hear you. Maybe a couple soft shackles would fit in the box as well, make shipping cost a little more tenable?
I shall dwell on it for the day....
Thank-you sir.

I need to see what a padded flat rate envelope goes for. I know I can get 4 soft shackles in one, so 2 with the recovery points won't be a problem. I can't get the shackles easily into the small flat rate. I might get one, not two.

I'll fix that later today. We have a few more sets left.

At the rate they've been selling as of late you may not need to.
I picked up a set of the hard anodized black recovery points to swap out my existing bare aluminum set. Thx

That number isn't as high as one would think. The problem is even if they do turn into a good seller, I really don't make enough to justify keeping them around. I make about 12% profit on a set. That really isn't sustainable and we've not figured out an acceptable method to reduce costs.
edit- I forgot a bit there on the profit dealio. That 12% is only that much if I don't pay anyone to pack and ship it, and I don't pay anyone to drop the parts off at the anodizer and then pay them to go pick them up and bring them back. Those tend to knock a good chunk out of 16 bucks we clear on these.

Here is some Post Office dumb. A padded flat rate envelope is cheaper than a small flate rate and it runs 30 bucks. I can easily get 2 soft shackles and 2 recovery points in a padded flat rate envelope. Which (OH JOY) drops the price per item to what a normal small flat rate goes for or 7.50ish each.

Alrighty, I'm in for the set and 2 red shackles. Simplest manner in which to proceed?
