Soccer gender pay gap explained

In a society that increasingly insists on non-binary gender, why do we even have a MNT and WNT? Just have one team and everyone compete for making the team.

At some point these incongruous ideas need to be shown for what they really are; LIES. And now our public education system is going to teach our kids these LIES are TRUTH. Geez, what a farce.

Some people will never get it.

No matter how you cut it, the women got paid more and they still want more.

The more important lesson here is, if you don't understand this video, you don't understand women.

Let the shit fly.

EDIT: And any knowledgeable male knows why they chose that benefits package; it gives more stability, income is not based on performance, even though the WNT has far out-performed the men's team. Women like stability, and risk is not a general characteristic.
The men’s team would destroy the women’s team.

I remember in Junior High I sucked at basketball enough to get to scrimmage the varsity girls. Good times were had.
HA!! I bet!!

I played baseball for summer league never for a HS... I ended up joining Jazz Choir in HS... Lots of long trips for concerts and plenty of hotel stays... 2 of those trips to Vancouver BC...Who knew... drinking was legal for 18 and over in Canada. 🤪 There may have been a few rounds of late night hotel room hopping thanks to having a couple under achievers being of age!!

Mind blown seeing the knowledge of de futbol y'all are showing.

I love me some futbol. I just won't be a snob about like a bunch of the nerds I know.
Oh come now, you have a touch of the nerdish snob living within you... I mean, you live in the good ol's US of A and you're calling it futbol.... o_O We wont judge though... Just as long as you don't start calling the American modified version of Rugby "Futbol Americano"...🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's how they're programmed, and for a good reason.

The thing that irritates me the most about the whole gender pay gap argument is that it COMPLETELY ignores the indispensable value that women bring - raising children & taking care of a family. It's intrinsically irreplaceable and orders of magnitude more important than working a career track.

I can't think of something more depressing than being on your deathbed reflecting upon all the promotions you got. This entire argument discards nearly everything that makes a woman a perfect fit for a man.

I don't think he's coming back.
Argh.

Oh well.

I truly am looking for a logical argument as to why this is the "case"... an argument that holds up to statistical analysis principles.

Studied this topic fairly well a few years ago in an advanced statistical methodology class while doing my MA.

All arguemnts showing that there is a pay gap... had issues with data pool integrity or the formula was incomplete.
(Ex: didnt account for time off from being preggo)

I did something similar in one of my programs. It was just bits of data collected to prove a point.

I’m in 1000% agreement about this. My wife homeschools 5 children, cooks, cleans, shops healthy for us. My kids are amazing people because of her. They initiate, work hard, show respect, and a hundred other amazing qualities that make them stand out bc my wife (I’d like to think I’m not too shabby a dad either). Bc of her I won’t have to deal with all the crap and hundreds of thousands of dollars parents throw away on their grown kids who became druggees or just want to live at home. Nope! Get a job, your moving out at 18. Deal with it. We’re not supporting that crap. Priceless what she does. These women are avoiding doing it bc it’s too hard, but it’s what they are built for.

Agree, I hope my daughter gets to grow up and find a good man so she can be a great mom and wife. I don’t really care how many degrees she gets, if any.
