Seat lowering mounts

Is anyone genuinely interested in having some brackets made to lower the seats? I designed these to fit the 97-02 seat sliders but might fit the 03-06 sliders and when I get the first set in I can test it on my LJ. I was thinking of coming in at $250+shipping no paint for a set of 4. These will also move the sliders back approximately 2in since I never found the furthest point back on stock seat risers to be enough but with the current seat relocation brackets I have that move them back 4in, I only go back not even half way.

Did you ever end up making sets of these? I have a 97 and 04 that I’d absolutely be in for 2 sets.

Did you ever test these to see if they work with the 03-06 sliders? If they do I would love a pair.

Short kings rise up! I said rise up, I can’t see y— oh wait nvm, my bad

(Im 5’6” lol)

Same here (66"), in my 98 I raised the seats 1 1/4". Swapped in seats from a 2000 tj and kept the risers. Fast forward a couple years, bought an 04 and mounted the 00 seats from the 98 in the 04 with NO risers, could see the edge of the hood just fine. Maybe I grew?

As @mudmaster said they can work with 03-06 but I need to make some modifications. The remaining ones I have are setup 97-02 only but can modify a set for the 03-06 no problem.

I'd love a set too. I'll try and PM you but I'm a newbie too. My back story is:
I am a tall guy (6'6"). I used the big boy brackets to move the seats back, but I recently changed the seats out of my 2001 TJ to a set from 2004, which I was told would sit lower.
I’m not finding that to be the case, they are either the same size or maybe a smidge higher (I did put a new foam cushion on the driver side seat).
Using stock seats, because now I have the 2001 and the 2004 is there any trick to modifying the brackets to make the seat sit lower ? TIA!

XCRN, I can't DM you because I'm too new but please DM me or email me at mistro914@gmail.com. As I said in my post, I'm now using a set of 04 seats in an 01 tub. Thanks! Hope to hear from you soon.

Just sent you an email. I sold my last set through Facebook yesterday but going to get more material to make more since there is a lot of interest in these.

Shoot timing is everything, but I am interested when you get more material and start up again. I'm responding to your email now.

Just got a few sets of the gen 2 seat mounts in and got a few welded for test fit. They now fit both 97-02 and 03-06 seat sliders as bolt on and I inadvertently found out with at least the PRPs, I was able to reasonably get into the back seat without the fold and tumble feature. Im 6’-0 and pudgy and was able to get in the back fairly easy on the pass side.

Nice looking mounts, when I made mine I used flat bar stock

Thanks! One of my earlier setups I made was like that, never ended up using it though, and after making and installing few of these newer formed ones I do not think the original one I made from flat bar would have worked at all.
