Running without a front swaybar?

I see a big difference in highway driving while fully loaded and pulling my 1200# teardrop. Ride is a bit squirrelly especially going down hill. 2.5” OME lift. My disconnects are hard to reinstall on anything other than flat ground with no load so I tend to travel back home without the sway bar connected. I removed the sway bar on my YJ years ago.

Having previously worked as an insurance adjuster, you are going to want to run sway bars on any vehicle you drive on the road. If you are in a wreck, it will be something they check on any modded Jeep in an attempt to deny you coverage. To them it's essentially the same as you disconnecting your rear brakes and still driving on the street. Plenty of quick disconnects available for our Jeeps and many other vehicles.

I did a hour and a half drive through Tombstone to the Chiricahua mountain range, roughly 85 miles with curvy roads average 50 mph. With 2 lane hwy doing 65 mph. Didn't feel like a issue. There was a section that a farm was doing harvesting, and we had trucks coming at us at 65 mph and didn't feel out of control at anytime. The front sway bar may come off my truck when we return from Komiefornia.

I run no sway bar in the front and very much realize the chances I’m taking on the street. Although I don’t drive on the street much. I’m saving for a swayloc. Hoping they go on sale or discounted around the holidays.
