Rock Jock Springs Bowing Outwards

Sway bar mounts are not stock, track bar location is not stock, knuckles are not stock, steering is not stock. Sorry, I was looking at this a little differently I guess.

The more I look at the mounts and perches,it really doesn’t look stock.maybe a one owner rubicon guy will post some pics of his?

well, yes everything has to be change because of the WJ knuckle swap. but not the spring location.

sorry, I didn't mention it but I was to one who did the wj knuckle swap. it is a factory dana 44. just the knuckle, track bar and sway bar was change

This is a screenshot I took to remind myself should I have a potential issue when I install the 4” RJ lift I’ve had sitting on garage floor for a couple years now (can’t go rushing into things 🙄). I realize this pertains to rear but maybe front also? If that’s not possible in current position maybe swap sides?

I tried everything, even try to push the sping inward after setting the spring in. without the weight of the jeep of course.

Just curious, did you try to rotate the spring around the bump stop (keeping the spring end in the notch)? It doesn't appear to be centered on the perch.

I did try that but Once the jeep weight is on the spring the spring just bow. I'm thinking that, the bow is so bad its throwing / looking off center.

Maybe @mrblaine can shed some light on this.
No idea what is going on. I suppose it is possible to get matching bad springs since it isn't impossible. The odds of that are very low, even lower that this is the first set, or only set and then to get a pair is just bizarre. Worse, if it was a spring related issue due to being incorrectly wound, the fact that the spring perches are 180 out from each other would point to them bowing different directions, not both outward. So again, no idea or even any idea where to start trying to figure it out.

Are they straight when they are off the Jeep? I’ve been following this a couple days, just haven’t said anything. Trying to figure it out,

yes, when they are off the jeep they are straight. measurement of the spring is also correct.

Mrblaine, I'm not sure also. when I called rock jock about this problem, they mention that they recently have a new manufacture that is making their spring .so that might be the case. I'm waiting for their replay back to see if I can get an exchange.
