Saw the motion detector light come on, looked out, and a ‘yote was lying in the grass. I opened the door to chase him away and a second one was there as well. One dropped supper while running away.

I've been seeing coyotes in my area lately too. Had to slow down on my way to work this morning, one ran across the street right in front of me.

We saw a skunk walk in front of our patio door the other day. Hopefully the coyotes take care of it.

It gets so cold the tires lose air and then freeze square. You have to drive a mile or two to round them back out. I did set a beer on the porch to cool it down. And a few minutes later it popped the cap off from freezing.

Spit and it froze before hitting the ground... And pee where it froze as it was hitting the ground.... Not that you can get past all those clothes to be able to pee when outside...

Coldest I saw in Barrow was -45* and then -75* w/windchill factor. You didn't stay outside long.

I was working outside of Alice Springs in July of '03 and it was 44C in the shade. There was no shade. The locals were giving me some good natured shit about my Upper US Midwest suffering in the heat. I countered with daring any of them to come to the Chicago lake shore in February, when the temp would be -23C with a 30 mph breeze off the lake. Where your face hurts and your snot freezes. No takers. Then we went to a pub and got shit-faced.

Not sure where to put this so I'll just leave it here. Saw this dude this morning. It's chilly here. Even snowed yesterday. Dude is committed! That's a factory turbo diesel BTW.

Took the truck to take the dog out for a hike. Man, the Jeep really spoils me. That road took like 2x the time to get down in the truck... And it was just the road that led to the pass. I parked at the bottom. Wheeling a full-size truck seems like it would be a pain in the ass.

Jumbled tires with normal AI garbage writing, center caps are all distorted, grille has a YJ-style bend, blurry winch with no distinguishing features or line/cable (and appears to have hydraulic winch type controls), door handles that have no handle, no bolts on the windshield frame/cowl which is also shaped wrong and distorted, mirrors are wrong, door hinges are wrong, marker lights are wrong, square gas filler, whatever is going on with that front axle, strange hardtop-soft top hybrid design, body line on the door is wrong, hood latches, etc. But I could be wrong? lol
