Rain leaking onto floor mats / interior from under / off to the side of the door pockets

Strange, I'm the OP on that thread and never got notification that anyone posted after my last... 😀

While the posted solution won't fix one issue I have with the latest seal, it might just solve an issue I've had with ever replacement thus far. That and probably a minor door adjustment.

somewhere on the forum i read about some silicone type grease that is made by/for honda that i’ve used on my door seals to help break them in. see pic.

There are drain holes on the bottom of the half doors. Never looked at full doors.
If there are and they are clogged there would be quite a pool inside the doors.

True. But if it is coming in around the screws on the inside of the door, I don't see any other way for water to get over there. Rain running down the side window wiper would run down the wiper channel to the front and back of the door. Water is not running down the inside of the window so that one can be ruled out. Given the low proximity of the screws, I really don't see any other way. But I could be wrong because I have never played with the doors enough to fully inspect their build.

I don't think it is. I don't believe his door is filling with water, the inside face of his door and sill at the front edge of the door are getting wet due to a door seal issue above.

Though now that it's been mentioned, I do kind of want to hear about someone's doors taking on water due to an absurd amount of shit built up in the bottoms, plugging the drain holes. It's theoretically possible. 😀

Way more common than you think.
