Question about the X vs Sport hardtops

Currently I have a 2000 TJ Sport. I have a hardtop that has both the Defrosters, aswell as the wiper. Unfortunately my Jeep has stage 4 cancer (rust) and has completely rusted through to the other side and has become extremely unsafe. Currently I am looking at buying an 03 wrangler X, can I use the hardtops defrosters and Wiper on the X? or will it take modification to the wiring harness to do so? If so is it hard to do?

Just for context: I want to remove the hardtop from my wrangler Sport and replace the soft top on the X with it.

You'll have to modify the connectors on the wiring harness.

Thank you! but what about the tube for the rear glass washer fluid? does that come standard on all wrangler X's?

Not unless it had the factory hardtop option from the dealer. Since it was an option, some of them had it (if they came with a hardtop), while the others didn't.

If it didn't come with a factory hardtop, then you'd have to add that as well.
