Has anyone ever returned a built LJR to near stock? I’m just seeing what kind of work is involved as well as time/money. Not saying I’m going to do it now but maybe in future. Found a low mileage (9000) on an 06 that’s in great shape.

What specific modifications were made to the vehicle? If "built" means a bolt on mass produced suspension lift then returning to stock won't be a big ordeal.

Homeboy @Westtown Willy has an unbuild thread doesn't he

sort of a half unbuild in my build thread. Mostly what I did was cosmetic to get it back to stock +, removed the sliders & skids, stubby & winch & some other odds & ends then put on a new set of stock bumpers and flares so it pretty much looks stock except the smallish lift & 33s. Still of course has the unseen mechanical modifications underneath. Next move if I ever get around to needing new tires will probably be a step down to 31s at which time I'll add stock springs, either with a 1 inch spacer in front to eliminate rake or maybe I'll go with a set of those 'stock' springs that run 1 inch taller, can't remember the name of them.
