My 2001 TJ (original owner) has the hard top on and developed a giant puddle on the front passenger-side floorboard. I've never had this happen before and am clueless as to how it happened (no open windows, etc.). It was wet around the passenger seat, but no water collection other than on the front passenger floorboard. Would you have any thoughts on where to look? It is usually outside, so this leak was very unusual. Thanks!

I had that happen when the AC condensate was flowing back along the drain pipe and into the cabin. I fixed that by attaching a short length of hose to the end of the drain and angled it downward so the water couldn't run back along the pipe to the firewall.

could be as simple as a stop'd up cowl vent drain tube

remove wiper blades(youtube)

remove 5 phillips screws holding cowl to body

lift cowl off gently to keep frum scratching paint

run soft wire(i use 12ga insulated solid copper strip'd out of romex bundle) down thru vent drain in center until you can see it underneath

i just did mine last week

same issue on my previous Jeeps

YMMV

BON CHANCE !

What's funny is I've had all three of these things covered above happen to my jeep. Lol I see your from NC, My Jeep came from NC originally, My under cowl Vent area and drain tube were filled and clogged with pine needles when i first got her. If your not smelling Antifreeze and the water for sure isn't AC and clear. I'd check the cowl drain for blockage as stated above as a first step.
