PSA: National throw out bearing failed after seven months of use

No. I just asked Luk a while back because of all the conflicting reports on metal vs composite/plastic. They just said if the metal ones fail, the metal chunks do more damage. They said the failure rate is very low for both and equal.

About how many miles on it?

It’s more of how the Jeep is driven. If it spends its whole life in 5th gear on the freeway, the TOB will possible never be replaced.
