Post-OPDA issue

Replaced my OPDA and the ole LJ runs great...but... I now have gotten a "Check Gauges" light on startup and the oil pump is zero. If I shut it down and restart everything is normal again. Its happened twice so far. Did I buy a bad unit? Its the Crown brand and re-used OEM sensor.

The Check Gauges light will set a code. Cycle the ignition from off to on 3 times without starting the engine and the code will be displayed in the odometer readout. This will help determine if it's a sensor, wiring or mechanical issue.

The oil sensor is in the neighborhood of the OPDA. Did the wire get bumped off?

Very possibly that the connection isn't solid since it comes and goes. I'll check. Thank you

It appears that there are only three possible issues: 1) Bad oil pressure switch, 2) Bad wiring, or 3) Bad PCM.
