Finally got to do the shakedown run after the lift went in last fall. I need a better solution to secure the sway bar disconnects. Found out I forgot to adjust the TC shifter, so 4hi was splitting between 4high/N on the detents, and 4 lo popped out the first time I used it…. Maybe a better option to go cable shifter…

It was a great day out with some icons of this forum! @Jerry Bransford , @AndyG, @John Cooper and many others! We got to pull rope, and navigate the unforgiving muddy rocks here in N. Al. I even got to ride in Jerry’s TJ… very well built!

Was a pleasure to meet you to bud!!!!

What a ride and what a weekend!!!!

Oh, and regearing (stock 3.07 on now 33’s)… I have not done that yet due to the fact I’ll be adding lockers at the same time, so need to save up. BUT, offroad it did good (as Jerry said, low range solves for the axle gearing), and on the 1+ hour interstate drive there and back I was able to hold 70+mph in 6th, only had to drop to 5th on a couple of the largest hills, and to pass.

Biggest reason for not regearing right now, is because of the 3.07’s, I’ll need new carriers, so may as well get lockers instead, also means super 35 too… so $$
