Decided to PlastiDip the wheels to see if I like the blacked out look. Followed directions, shook the can thoroughly, and still ended up with some splatter 😡. None of it is running. I kept the first coat light. Will this disappear with a few more coats or should I just bail now, hit it with Goo Gone, powerwash them, and start all over again?

I think you're blazing a new trail here...might want to let it completely set up and sand out the runs and drips...then recoat.

I did my Ravine rims about 4 years ago. Street driven jeep with low mileage. I don't rotate in the spare, so that look brand new still. The other 4 held up pretty well to the road. Red stripes hand painted on the plastic-dip went well also. First coat light, next two were a little heavier. Good prep is key.
