Daughter:my parents said they read the rules and it said mask or no mask All students will be working together and I will be treated no different. Asshole Teacher: dumbfounded stare turns around and walks away.
I only wish I could have seen this 12 yr old girl stump this fat fuck with the facts.

I wish the kid wearing pajamas driving an Audi hadn’t just rear ended us on his learners permit while we were in the left lane with our cruise set. Thankfully nobody hurt.

I got rear ended by a illegal alien "super citizen" while driving in the middle lane pulling my camper last June.

A quick glance at the left mirror and I see a little red car coming on at least 30mph over my speed (67)...Wait for him to blow past...check mirror again and he turns into our lane...no! don't do that, you ain't got enough room...boom lurched the truck pretty good.

Totaled their Hertz rental car that they didn't take the insurance on they had "Progressive" (that's another discussion)
I merge to the right shoulder. The dumbass leaves his car in the left lane blocking it. (no sense pulling onto the left shoulder)
I call the police, trooper comes and checks on me then goes to the other car which is 800 feet back.
.
7 emergency vehicles come and attend to them, fire, police, paramedics, highway minuteman. Gapers staring at left lane are crowding the shit out of my side. I'm alone on the right with my only my flashers, barely off the road since there was a guard rail.

Cop comes back over after about 45 minutes and asks if we were good.

I said: " I felt lonely over here, 7 emergency vehicles on the left, and I get nothing". (Guess I didn't need it with my white privilege)

Aftermath: Put in claims for camper / truck. $6000. They had the audacity to fight it. Took a year to settle.

When it happens again, I'm leaving in a fucking ambulance no more Mr. Nice Guy.

Got sideswiped by a guy with no insurance once. After they got done they let him drive away, never did get my deductible back cause he never paid and insurance stopped fighting.

My opinion is if you can’t legally drive without insurance they should have impounded his car until he got insurance and paid what he owed.

Once again proving the law is only there to hinder the responsible citizen. In my case I likely wouldn't have gotten paid if it wasn't a Hertz vehicle.

You should try digging post holes in what used to be a mountain river bed... Your 6 to 8 inch diameter post hole turns into a 4 foot wide pit thanks the the Buick and Volkswagen sized rocks that lie about 6 inches under the topsoil!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes: Marking and digging post holes is like playing Russian Roulette!!

At that point I would just not build a fence.

Mine ended up 330 feet including the 60 I had already ran. Rented a 1 man auger from home depot. Out of 27 holes attempted with the auger, it worked well for about 6 of them. Another 6 or so it worked ok if I ran it for a bit, filled the hole with water, did some other work and came back to it after soaking. Some required a few soaking cycles because 30 minutes after pouring 3 gallons of water into the hole, 6 inches below the surface was still bone dry. The rest it would hit a root and just spin and not make progress, or would grab it and take me for a ride. Twisted my right arm pretty good on one of them; took me a good 30 seconds for the pain to subside enough for me to decide it wasn't dislocated. Had to cut a few roots with a sawzall. All of them had to follow behind with the clamshell diggers for the last few inches. Had a couple times where I had to disconnect the motor and screw the auger bit back out of the ground. All in all I'm not sure it saved me any time over the clamshell diggers, it just used different muscle groups.

All the holes are dug at least, but I have 3 more posts to set. I miscalculated my length and came up short by 2 line posts, but I have 2 extra gate posts because I was able to re-use the posts from the gate I took out. Just have to drill through the post to make holes for the rails but my drill battery only made it through 2/3 of one post.

I counted 48 trees inside the fence.

If they dont total it, make sure you file a claim for loss of value. Talk to your insurance company. If yours was like new and in excellent condition, you will take a financial hit when you sell it.

That's why there are so many jack fences around these parts, or t-post fences...

HOA's could be another topic of this thread. :ROFLMAO: I would have been happy to do that but our HOA's fencing guidelines allow nothing but split rail or round post-and-dowel, so there's no getting around digging holes.

HOAs suck, unless you live next door to the guy who is a shitbag and has garbage all over his yard

We were about to build on 5 acres late last year and after we'd bought the property and designed a house we learned that the 11 acres our builder had bought 2 doors down from us was going to be the new headquarters of their construction business...with huge metal buildings, materials, equipment, as well as all the associated traffic. There was an HOA but the covenants were so vague it was going to be hard to stop them. It ended up going to a vote where we were in the position of having to either vote against the interests of our new neighbors or of someone we were in a business relationship with. I just didn't go to the meeting, and then I took a new job, sold the property and moved away.

I broke a lug nut off in the Mini Cooper yesterday. Drilled a hole in it, then broke the easy out off in that.

There are 2 still stuck on another wheel so I'm soaking them the best I can to see if they come loose. I cleaned up the rest of the lug nuts and threaded holes with wire brushes and put them back on with anti seize.

I'll have to take the brake rotor off and grab on the the small piece of lug nut sticking out of the back.

So far I broke the locking lug socket, a socket wrench adapter, a lug nut, and an easy out. And I'm not done.

The goal is to be able to change any of the tires if i get a flat and rotate them for wear.

I drove home from work and the front wheels were hot from braking. I gave it as much effort as when I broke the one and the 2 in front backed out. So I can finish rotating the tires now. And run 3 lug nuts on the rear wheel until I get the broken one out.

I'll not slide around corners to stress it too much until I fix it.

Rust I take it and dissimilar metals?

I took 1" of rust off the threads of each lug nut and cleaned out the threads in the hubs. I've never had anything like this before. But I had a local shop fix an oil leak last year, so maybe they took the tires off and overtightened them.

I have had a tire stick to the point I had to put a scissor jack between the frame and wheel (with a block of wood) to pop it off. Dissimilar metals and some rust welded it on good. But that was a different car. The tires came right off once I got the lug nuts out.

Time to sell the little Mini since the kids have different cars now. I use it to go to work occasionally when there's a chance of rain. That way I don't have to put the doors and top back on.

If it's like the mini I had, it was German style where it had lug bolts that thread into the hub instead of nuts that thread onto studs. Is that what yours is? I've always wondered what tradeoffs there might be in that setup other than it being more of a pain to put the wheel back on without studs to hold it up while you get the first one started.

I could start a whole thread on how much I hated my Cooper S.
