Piss & Moan Table

I have Verizon and of course I can't make or receive phone calls. My phone and the wife's went out first thing. The son and his wife's phone in Maine were working until around 7 pm.

I can send messages with my Wi-Fi but I can't make phone calls over the Internet for some reason normally I can??

Verizon is reportedly having a sever issue some where back east.

I hope I make it home from work without tipping over.

Big ice storm coming for the southern states. What happened to Global Warming?

Hearing about all the winter storms and ice events east of the Mississippi and I just shake my head at all the doom and gloom climate activists.
"Oh the caps are melting, global warming, blah blah blah.. They get proven not only wrong but wrong on such a scale that they are forced to reverse their doom and gloom rants to "oh no an ice age is coming" because the polar caps are actually growing.. :ROFLMAO:
But back to the weather out east. Quit stealing our winter damnit!!!
We are on record right now as having the warmest winter since the 1930s. We've been, on average 10 to 20 degrees above normal temps all winter long. As of yet no signs in the future forecast of that changing. We're not even close to having enough snow in our mountains for this time of year. As for down here in the valley the local Masonic Lodge makes an ice skating rink every winter and it's usually done and being used by no later than mid November. It's still not useable as of now.

Sounds just like our weather , A La Nina pattern does this to us . But NOAA says the pattern is slowly changing to El Nino in the fall and getting colder and more moisture starting this spring . However this is a .gov entity , so who knows.

Dead of winter here in SoCal. Highs only in the low 60s and lows in the high 40s. Clouds are moderating our temps. The next 3 weeks or so is when we traditionally get cold enough to have to smuge the groves. Locally we’ve slowly switched to avocados from citrus. The citrus can take a few hours at 26 but anything below 30 will kill next year’s buds on the avocados. Clouds are our friends and lack of wind is the enemy.
